For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully.
What am I supposed to do now that I have figured out who I am, and where I belong in Christ???
We have reflected on our life experiences to see where God has taken us, and who we have become. Next we discussed the need to find our worth and sense of belonging in the love and salvation of Christ. Now knowing that God has been working in our past, and having the confidence we have in our Father’s love, we can begin to identify how God wants us to use them to serve.Figuring out what you were made to do is not always easy. But God gave each one of us skills, gifts, and passions that he wants us to use to glorify the Kingdom.
“Your spiritual gift will be one of the primary indicators of what God wants you to do with your life.” “Your Ability to build others up to fulfill God’s purpose will be aligned with your passions, experience, natural abilities, personality, pain, adversity, and circumstances so that the Holy Spirit will show you in each season of life your unique contribution into the lives of others.”-Chip Ingram
Keep in mind that as you grow in your faith with God, so will your abilities in your practiced skills, and as a result you will find joy in the fruitfulness you will bare in the Spirit. If you are looking for ways to put your gifts into action and strengthen your renewed life of servitude first Pray, then keep Focus on what God is calling you to do, don’t let your self get distracted by the world. Lastly Practice by sharing your gift with others.
